CAVANNA SPELLED AND APPLE 300g

Fiber-rich cookies like these are not very easily found on the market. We only use a few varieties of spelled, expertly blended by our Miller Fabrizio Cavanna. These varieties are Spelta and Dicocco or Dicoccum. The first is a more modern type of spelled, very workable and usable; the second, on the other hand, is much older, and its use dates back to the time of the Roman Empire. The taste of the Farro, inside this mixture, enhances the flavor and taste of the Apple pulp we use. Did you know that? This biscuit is made with Apple pulp produced here in the province of Cuneo precisely in the Saluzzo area, while the flour is entirely produced in our Mill of the Riviera in Dronero. Our goal is to give you a healthy and nutritious biscuit. In fact, spelled being whole and rich in fiber retains a lot of nourishment and releases the sugars present inside the biscuit much more slowly than a normal shortbread.
