It is the result of the historical heritage of Distillerie Francoli for the woods used in aging but also for having kept the best fruits of their garden separate and at rest, with patience and sacrifice. Eighty-eight barriques were purchased, in a lump sum, in 1988. Since then those woods have continued to perform their function, proving that their activity does not end after a few years of use. VARIETY: Nebbiolo from the most suitable Piedmontese wine-growing areas. YEAR OF DISTILLATION: 2011. AGING: it took place from November 2011 until November 2014 in oak barrels with thick slats. AGING :: took place in used Limousin oak barriques from November 2014 to July 2017, caressing the Grappa and ensuring balance and harmony. ALCOHOL CONTENT: 42.5% by volume. COLOR: amber, with very intense golden reflections. BOUQUET: jam and candied fruit with a pleasant memory of raisins; end; noble. TASTE: Taste: the vigorous entry of the alcoholic note does not conceal a sweet nuance due to long aging. The vanilla of the wood is immediately perceived accompanied by notes of tea leaves and candied fruit. In the finish the pepper emerges. Remarkable persistence.
