The Roero Riserva Roche dAmpsej is a splendid Nebbiolo of which we can almost do without presentations. The Matteo Correggia winery has accustomed us over the years to wines of the highest level, making his name a synonym of guarantee, also thanks to the passion and commitment with which Ornella Costa manages the farm today. The Roero, of which Roche dAmpsej is an excellent abassador, is nebbioli langhetti's most illustrious brother. A close relative who lives on the other bank of the Tanaro river, compared to Barolo and Barbaresco, but which perfectly demonstrates all the characteristics of this "great and mysterious" grape, as Matteo Correggia liked to call it. After 18 months of aging in barrique, the Nebbiolo Roero Riserva Roche dAmpsej is bottled and takes the name of the Roche dAmpsej cru, like the Nebbiolo vineyard with sandy and steep slopes overlooking the typical Roero rocks. Roero Riserva Roche dAmpsej is a wine with a regal character, with delicate fragrances and imperceptible nuances, as elegant as the great Piedmontese wines can be. An excellent expression of Nebbiolo which, thanks to an alarming symphony of intense and hidden notes, is able to fascinate even the most demanding palates. Alcoholic content: 14.5%. It may contain sulphites.
