It is in fact a wine that comes from the happy union of Nebbiolo grapes coming from the most suitable crus of the cellar, which wants to remember over time the peculiar characteristics of particularly favorable vintages. A bottle in which body and structure never detract from elegance and drinkability, already today ready to be uncorked, but which, if you have time to wait even for more than 10 years, will be able to amaze you even more. The Barolo 44 ° Annata red wine is born from the use of pure grapes of a red grape variety which, in Piedmont and especially in the Langhe, is able to give life to great products, Nebbiolo. The grapes of this variety come from the most prestigious crus owned by the Parusso winery, namely Bussia, Mariondino and Mosconi. The grapes, carefully selected during the harvest phase, are softly pressed, and then fermented thanks to the use of indigenous yeasts. It then goes on to refinement, carried out for 18 months in small oak barrels. The 44th Annata Parusso shows itself to the eye with a typically ruby color, tending to garnet in the nail. The olfactory profile is interesting, with variegated notes that turn from violet towards floral and spicy. On the palate it is full-bodied, round, refined, with a sip characterized by good minerality, in which there is also a pleasant freshness. A bottle with which the Parusso winery interprets the important Piedmontese denomination of Barolo, celebrating it only in the most fruitful years, in which the quality of the grapes is nothing short of excellent.
