Barbaresco di Martinenga has an elegant nature that comes from the vineyard. The olfactory sensations with hints of sweet tobacco, leather and spices coexist with components of freshness and jams. Rich structure, rightly tannic but good harmony. Great breed, excellent on meats, poultry and aged cheeses. Red vinification with emerged cap maceration for eight / ten days at a controlled temperature and submerged cap for twenty / thirty days. Malolactic fermentation following the alcoholic one. Aging in new, first and second passage barriques for twelve months; following twelve months in Slavonian oak barrels. Aging in the bottle for twelve months before being marketed. Excellent with red meats and medium-aged hard cheeses, it goes well with traditional Piedmontese first courses, such as tajarin and raviolini del plin. It may contain sulphites. Alcoholic content: 14.5%.
