The Barbaresco del Castello di Verduno is a version of Barbaresco made from a selection of grapes that come from the vineyards located in the areas of Rabajà, Rabajà bass and Faset; here the soil has a high limestone-clay content which guarantees the production of elegant wines, with intense aromas and exceptional longevity. The attention and care of the Verduno Castle for wine is entirely directed to the vine and the fruit; it is here that wine is born, it is here that wine begins to grow and where it lays the foundations to develop. Practices in the cellar are reduced to a minimum and all the emphasis is placed on work in the vineyard, where the wine must have its timing, it must not be forced or accelerated; this is the only way to have a quality wine. Quality that is immediately noticeable in this Barbaresco that the company likes to define as "an everyday Barbaresco". A Barbaresco that is aged for 18 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, for 3 months in steel vats and for another 14 months in the bottle. A Barbaresco that has a fresh nose, with very pleasant aromas of red fruits and flowers, with an interesting freshness and a final tannic texture that make this wine very gastronomic and versatile. It may contain sulphites. Alcoholic content: 14%.
