LA MOSCATA - Winner of the 5 Grappoli Award & Best Wine of Italy Bibenda 2020 - A fermentation method of millenary origins. Thanks to the micro-oxygenation, the amphora grants the fullness of secondary and tertiary aromas while maintaining the traditional characteristics of the Moscato DOCG wine. The amphorae were created specifically to vinify Muscat with a mixture of earth and other minerals aimed at elevating and respecting the sinuosity of this noble must. Time is the first ingredient. The must ferments and subsequently refines in amphora acquiring harmony, finesse and balance. It is in this phase that the second fermentation takes place, where delicate and refined bubbles naturally arise. Moscata: the name derives from the return to origins that evokes lanfora, in fact in the most ancient times our grape was called moscata then it was transformed into moscato. CHARACTERISTICS OF THIS WINE - The color is intense golden, the bubbles are very fine. On the nose: strong olfactory definition, floral and fruity note of yellow peach, apricot, ripe yellow fruit, spicy note in the retronasal, captivating, intriguing. In the mouth: hint of honeyed note, hint of balsamic note, extraordinary scent of fresh citrus peel, an orange and mandarin peel. Notes of ripe fruit such as apple and pear. The sensation is of great freshness, flavor and persistence, the finish in the mouth is particularly clean. It may contain sulphites.
