Moscato dAsti Valter Bera is a really well made Piedmontese sweet wine: the final sugary component never upsets the balance of the drink, but rather encourages it to repeat a sip that we would like endlessly. A label in which the varietal aromatic character of Moscato comes out to the maximum of its expressiveness, making this bottle one of the standard bearers of the entire type. When festive occasions are approaching, it is always good to have a good supply available! This Moscato dAsti is conceived by the Valter Bera winery starting from Moscato Bianco grapes grown with the guyot in vineyards well exposed to the sun, characterized by a clayey-tuffaceous subsoil rich in limestone, which enhances the finesse and typicality of the varietal. The manual harvest takes place during the first or second decade of September, and the berries are softly pressed. The must partially ferments by refrigeration in an autoclave, so that the carbon dioxide remains partially dissolved in the wine and a good final dose of sugars remains in the wine. It remains to mature in steel tanks for a few months, before being bottled. Moscato dAsti Valter Bera presents itself to the eye with a bright straw color, crossed by lively bubbles, with good persistence and a subtle profile. The aromas that envelop the nose are characterized by a typically varietal aromatic imprint, in which fruit, flowers and aromatic herbs alternate with orderly notes. In the mouth it is light-bodied, with a sweet but never cloying taste, enhanced by a fresh component that makes it extremely pleasant to drink. An excellence within the Bera range, which year after year is confirmed as the perfect sweet wine with which to end carefree lunches and dinners. It may contain sulphites. Alcoholic content: 7%.
