BERLINER WEISSE BEER 33cl

Berliner Weisse is one of the oldest and most interesting German brewing styles. Renamed in the Napoleonic era "the champagne of the north" these sour wheat beers are traditionally added with raspberry or woodruff syrup. Unfortunately, the industrial brewing revolution had almost made them disappear if not for small specimens that were not exactly inviting, but the craft scene (above all German in the first place) has decided not to let this noble style die and rediscover it. In Italy one of the best versions is represented by the one made by Canediguerra. Poured into the glass it is opalescent golden with a swirling and abundant perlage. On the nose lactic notes of yougurth and citrus dominate, even if the brewery has decided to focus on an additional spicy profile. In the mouth it is dry, very drinkable with a pleasant lactic acidity. Alcoholic content: 3.2%.
