The Roero Arneis Renesio of the Malverà winery is a fresh, simple and expressive territorial white wine that exudes passion, the one put by the owners of the winery in conducting their vineyards and in the search for the best plots where to obtain expressive and identifying whites based on Arneis, white vine symbol of Roero. Enhancement of the territory and its peculiarities are the strengths of the Malverà winery and of the labels produced, which are experiencing good success in Italy and in the world. This bottle comes from the Renesio vineyard, a Roero cru, located on a south-facing hill at an altitude of about 300 meters and dominated by cypresses and an ancient farmhouse of over 250 years. The soil is clayey and calcareous and the vines are grown organically. The grapes, carefully selected during the harvest, are sent to the cellar where the winemaking work begins. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks, where the refinement on the fine lees also takes place for a period of about 9 months. A stop of about 2 months in the bottle completes the production process. The label with which it is marketed is a tribute both to the mysterious and fascinating symbols of the tarot cards and to the ancient coat of arms of the Counts Roero depicting a wheel, which has become a symbol of the territory. At sight Roero Arneis DOCG Renesio shows an intense straw yellow color of beautiful brightness. The nose is fine, pleasant, fragrant and variegated: sensations of white fruits, cut field grass and memories of wild flowers on a mineral background are felt. On the palate it is concentrated, with a nice freshness and flavor, elegant, smooth and intensely enveloping. Surely one of the symbols of the determination that the Damonte family puts into producing wines that reflect the many facets of the Roero hills, an extraordinarily suitable and fascinating territory.
