ERBALUCE DI CALUSO DOCG 2018 MISOBOLO VINEYARD

Erbaluce di Caluso Vigna Misobolo di Ciek is the company cru of Erbaluce: a historic vineyard of over 50 years that embraces the San Giorgio hill, 320 meters above sea level. It is one of the first vineyards cultivated solely with white grapes that Remo Falconieri planted. It is a particular plant, with a double pergola, which allows for a good exposure of the bunches and low yields. Once in the cellar, the grapes are cooled overnight, de-stemmed and pressed. the must is subjected to decantation and fermented at a controlled temperature in steel tanks. After a rest on the fine lees in the tank for about 12 months, it is bottled and left to rest for 6 months in the bottle. Erbaluce di Caluso Vigna Misobolo has a bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections; the nose is intense with fruity and vegetable aromas of pear, plum, yellow flowers, sage and marjoram. On the palate it is fresh and satisfying with a nice flavor. This Erbaluce goes perfectly with chicken tuna. It may contain sulphites. Alcoholic content: 13%.
