The Nebbiolo from the Giacomo Fenocchio winery is the authentic expression of the great passion that binds a family of vignerons, settled for five generations in the heart of the Langhe of wine, to this vine with unparalleled territorial symbolicity. Claudio Fenocchio is the soul of the company, carried on with the help of the brothers Alberto and Albino, inside the splendid farm of Monforte d'Alba overlooking the famous hill of Bussia. The central objective is the production of classic wines, impeccably faithful to the genuine expression of the terroir of origin. For this reason, considerable attention is paid to operations in the vineyard, with very limited use of products that impact the environment. The crus owned by Bussia, Villero and Cannubi are among the most fruitful in the history of Nebbiolo, within an ideal geographical triangle that unites the splendid territories of Monforte d'Alba, Barolo and Castiglione Falletto. The vines are all ancient, with an average age ranging from twenty to sixty years, while the most strategic positions for exposure and altitude are precisely reserved for Nebbiolo. In the panorama of the great Barolo company production, Nebbiolo di Fenocchio is a worthy relative characterized by very fine drinkability, with a sweet tannic texture, a pulpy structure and a marked minerality. Nothing, therefore, to envy to the magnificent interpreters of the genre: Fenocchio's Nebbiolo is a clear example of how the variegated expressiveness of the land of Langa also passes through a minor denomination, offering unique and distinctive characters. It may contain sulphites. Alcoholic content: 14.5%.
