Cascina Ca Rossa's Roero Arneis Merica is a fresh and drinkable wine. Vinified and aged exclusively in steel, it has a fragrant and crunchy bouquet, which makes it delicate and pleasant during tasting. In the mouth there is that persistent flavor typical of the original grape variety used, Arneis. A precise label from an aromatic point of view, which in the kitchen has a strong gastronomic power. This Merica Roero Arneis of Cascina Ca Rossa originates from those vineyards located near Canale dAlba and Santo Stefano Roero. We are located at about 200-250 meters above sea level and the exposure of the parcels, characterized by a sandy subsoil with the presence of marl and clay, faces south and south-west. The manual harvesting of the bunches, grown according to the criteria of organic farming, takes place during the first ten days of September. The must is processed in steel containers where fermentation is completed. The final refinement lasts for two months and is carried out in steel. At the end of this short period the wine is bottled, and after two months of further aging in glass it is ready to be marketed. Cascina Ca Rossa's Merica Roero Arneis moves in the glass with a straw yellow color, characterized by a few more greenish flashes. The nose has a simple and immediate profile, structured around a note of peach and floral references in which the broom flower stands out. On the palate it has a medium intensity, with a savory and fresh sip that tells itself immediately. It closes with a gustative finish of good persistence. A beautiful example of a native Piedmontese vine excellent both at the time of the aperitif and during meals, especially in combination with cereal soups, fish appetizers and seafood first courses. Color Straw yellow, with greenish reflections. Bouquet Notes of peach and hints of broom. Taste Of medium intensity and structure, with a nice sapidity and freshness, with a vertical and persistent sip. It may contain sulphites. Alcoholic content: 13%.
